Booking

 

A variety of options for bookings are available, and costs are variable, dependent upon membership of the the British HCI Group, the EUPA or being a student. The follow pricing structure applies - prices shown are for BHCIG & UPA members;

 

Conference

Registration fee (on or after 10th July 2002) Delegate £380 Student £225

By booking, you are entitled to:

  • Attendance at all Conference Events (with the exception of Tutorials and Workshops)
  • Attendance at the Social Events
  • A Conference pack
Workshops and Tutorials
Full-day tutorial: £160
Half-day tutorials: £85
Accepted workshop participants : Full-day £50 Accepted workshop participants : Half-day £20

To attend a workshop (unlike the rest of the conference) you must have BOTH an explicit acceptance from that workshop's organiser AND pay the additional workshop fee to the conference. Either one without the other isn't enough. Details on applying to a workshop can be found via the list of workshops.

If you receive acceptance notification after registering for the conference, please send workshop payment to the Registration Office along with a note including the name of your workshop and your name, address, telephone, fax and email.

To book attendance at the conference, download this pdf format booking form and post it to the address given on the form.

Accommodation

There is limited accommodation at South Bank University's Halls of Residence, in McLaren House. This accommodation is charged at the rate of £35.00 per person, per night. This accommodation should be booked at the at the same time as attendance at the Conference.

Alternatively, there are many hotels within reasonable walking distance from the University. A list of these is provided below for convenience. This list is not exhaustive, nor does inclusion in this list imply that these hotels are in anyway endorsed, or recommended, by SBU.
