Would you like to be a student volunteer at this year's HCI/EUPA conference? Some frequently asked questions about volunteering are answered here:

What is involved in the role of Student Volunteer?
Assist in all aspects of the day to day running of the conference
Preparation and helping set up equipment, as required
Speakers' assistant
Help with Registration proceedings

What are the benefits of being a student volunteer?

Timetabled to attend Workshops/Tutorials in your area of interest, if possible

What qualifications do I need?
Post Graduate student - Masters or PhD
Registered Student up to and including the conference dates
Studying an HCI related topic
Ability to fund travel to and from the UK
Reference from your Course Director/Supervisor
Permission to attend conference from your Course Director/Supervisor
Be available 2nd - 6th September 2002, inclusive

Administration
The short list for Student Volunteers for the HCI/EUPA 2002 Conference has now been drawn up. The numbers of applications far exceeded the number of place available. However, should you wish to be considered for a "stand by" place, in the event of any Volunteers on the short list withdrawing, please complete the application form. It is vital that you indicate the last date that you will need notice to attend the Conference. Please include this date as part your personal statement. In the absence of this information, your application will not be considered. Thank you for your interest.
