HCI Pre-Conference Reception

Tuesday 19:00 Barker House Farm

All workshop delegates and conference attendees are invited to attend an informal dinner at Barker House Farm, Lancaster University. A carvery or barbeque will be served between 19:00 and 21:00 and a late bar will be available.

Conference Welcome Reception

Wednesday 18:30 Infolab (provisional)

Lancaster University invites all HCI '07 participants to a reception at 18:30 in Infolab.

Conference Dinner

Thursday 17:30

Depart from Lancaster University campus and travel by coach to The Grange Hotel, Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria

(40 minutes). Transportation is included in the Conference Dinner ticket.

18:30

Reception drinks in Grange View Suite and Terrace OR gardens.

19:15

A 3-course Dinner with wine, followed by coffee/mints, will be served in the Grange View and Promenade Suite.

21:15

A Céilidh will be held in the Grange View Suite. This is an informal social event where people dance to traditional music. A "caller" explains each dance and gives people a chance to walk through the steps before the music starts. Whilst dancing is not obligatory, ceilidhs are great fun and participation is strongly encouraged!

Music will be provided by The Front Parlour Band.

Bar

Bar will be open in the Grange View Hotel during welcome drinks and following dinner, where drinks may be purchased.
