Brief description of course:

We will look at the virtual worlds and cyberspace and assess the usefulness of tools and techniques used by humans to utilise computers. Our aim in the programme is to make software and systems both usable and useful. The HCS graduate will have specific domain knowledge of interactive systems designed to support everything from the conventional single user working to e-commerce, virtual worlds, multimedia and collaborative applications. This programme is accredited by the British Computer Society.

HCI content:

A range of HCI, Multimedia and related modules are studied at each stage of the course.
These include HCI at stage 2, Interaction Design and Experiential Design at stage 3, Media Computing and Future and Emerging Technology at stage 4.
