Brief description of course:

If you are keen to understand the convergence of video, pictures, data and sound and how it will impact on the computer then this course is for you. You will use a range of software design and development techniques together with multimedia technologies, authoring environments and human-computer interface guidelines to generate multimedia systems for a range of applications varying from educational packages to entertainment CD-ROMs. This programme is accredited by the British Computer Society.

HCI content:

A range of HCI and multimedia modules are studied throughout the course. This includes web development and HCI at stage 2, Interaction Design, CCD and Multimedia Development Methods at stage 4 and Media Computing and CSCW at stage 4.
