- IT-conversion MSc combining Multimedia Hardware, software engineering and HCI with project management and teamworking skills
- Started in 1993, and now has approx 150 fulltime students each year.
- Can also be taken part-time.

HCI content:
8 taught modules, of which four have a focus on user and customer-centred approaches, but the main module in this area in Multimedia Systems Design.

By the end of this module students will be able to:
- Understand, describe, and discuss the principles and techniques of effective human-computer interaction for interactive multimedia applications;
- Design a usable human-computer interface according to appropriate principles, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Be able to use and combine different interface components and media in an interface to good effect.
- Evaluate human-computer interfaces.
- Identify future trends in human-computer interfaces
