Most of the eight taught modules focus on customer-centred approaches, but the module "Interactivity and the Internet" has the greatest focus:

  1. Understand, describe and discuss the principles and techniques of effective human-computer interaction for interactive media applications;
  2. Analyse existing system interfaces in non-computing domains, and define criteria to be replicated in an online environment
  3. Design a usable human-computer interface according to appropriate principles, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  4. Be able to use and combine different interface components and media in an interface, the better to achieve a required outcome.
  5. Critically evaluate human-computer interfaces.
  6. Identify future trends in human-computer interfaces.
