Interfaces is developing an HCI Accreditation Scheme, in conjunction with Lloyd's Register Industry Division. It is intended that accreditation will be available to individuals and to companies who demonstrate their commitment to and application of sound HCI practices. The HCI Group is always keen to support and promote events around the UK at which practitioners and interested members of business and industry are welcome. Events are generally advertised on the events section of this website, on our sister site UsabilityNews.com and via our HCI News Service. Events include conferences, workshops, tutorials and informal meetings where participants can talk, learn about the issues or simply meet people with similar interests and challenges.

If you are an HCI practitioner in business or industry, and wish to find out more about the group's activities, or stimulate discussion about the particular challenges of promoting HCI in commerce, then contact the chair. They are members of the business and practitioner community with active interests in HCI and form a key part of the British HCI Group's Executive Committee.
